Stretch Marks

Our scars tell our story. They are a part of us, whether we like it or not. A majority of women have stretch marks some place on their body and while beauty standards are finally starting to change and rocking the tiger stripes is becoming more accepted, many of us still struggle with the “imperfect” appearance they create. We can’t get rid of them, but now, with new technology, we can blend them in seamlessly. At SB Volume Lash Studio, we offer two different treatments for stretch marks: the inkless technique and the ink technique, or Camouflage tattoo.

Inkless Technique

If you prefer to stay away from the needle, this procedure will be more your speed. A deeply penetrating mix of serums, organic oils and vitamins C work to improve cellular turnover, reconstruction and rejuvenation of Fibroblast cells, Collagen and Elastin. Whether they’re red, purple, or white, this natural treatment can reduce your stretch marks 20%-100% after just one session.

$900 per session/per area for new clients

$800 for return clients.

Ink Technique (Camouflage Tattoo)

Stretch Mark Camouflage takes tattooing to a whole new level. A custom, proprietary skin or flesh-toned pigment is applied to your stretch marks, disguising them and making them less noticeable. This treatment is becoming increasingly popular and allowing women everywhere the chance to embrace their bodies more easily. The camouflaging affects are the best yet.

FAQs

How much time do the treatments take?

Typically, a session lasts between 1-3 hours. It all depends on the affected area. Usually, it takes several treatments to achieve desired results.

Is stretch mark camouflage tattooing right for me?

If you have stretch marks, we can give you a camouflage tattoo treatment. We do advise that you try our inkless technique first and resort to ink if that doesn’t achieve your desired result. Some clients have skin tone and stretch marks that are too close in color – in this case we would perform only inkless technique. The inkless technique involves the same steps as a camouflage tattoo, but without the use of any pigment colors. The skin on the scars will be carefully damaged just enough to induce healing.

Stretch mark camouflage vs laser treatments

Laser Treatments work on stretch marks by damaging the skin’s outer layer and forcing it to heal itself, similar to our inkless procedures. However, the pigment that was lost during the stretching is not restored. So almost all clients who use Laser Treatments for their stretch marks still have noticeable stretch marks. In fact, many people who come to receive inkless or tattoo camouflage have already tried Laser Treatment. Also, Laser Treatments hit the bank hard- costing $1,000 to $3,000 per session and can easily end up costing the client over $10,000 overall.

Are the treatments painful?

Depending on the area, a topical anesthetic may be applied to lightly numb the area in order to make the treatment comfortable. Most clients report that it is painless, some have commented that “it actually tickles”, “it feels like a gentle scratching”, or “it’s not as bad as a tattoo”.

How long is the downtime?

This is a noninvasive procedure similar to a tattoo. Therefore, there is little to no downtime and most clients can resume work in the same day or the next day. However, aftercare is extremely important, so we recommend that you take the day off to relax and avoid touching the area for the best results.

Getting Started and Treatment Day

When you come see us for a consultation by calling _______ or booking through our website, or when you send us photos of your skin, you will be evaluated based on stretch mark and/or scar color, affected area, skin tone, matching pigmentation, and the sensitivity of your skin.

For the day of the procedure, you are encouraged to wear/bring loose and comfortable clothing.

Immediately following your treatment, the area treated will be red, raised, and inflamed and may take a few days to subside but this is normal and to be expected. Minor itchiness can be relieved by rubbing Aquaphor on the area. You will be given complete post-treatment care instructions in order to facilitate the healing process and get the best results possible.
